First signs of Spring and warmer weather are seeing the leaves of flowering bulbs peeking out of the brown earth. Flowers are such a joy to look at and some are full of pleasant fragrance. I love the smell of Southern Magnolias! 

There is a particular magnolia tree that I pass by with huge blooms. I knocked on the door of the owner to ask permission to take one, partly so I could take pictures of it for this painting, but mostly because I wanted to smell the fragrance as I drove home.

D-Rings and wire have been attached for immediate hanging or you may choose to place it in a frame.
