I use a simplified Cubist approach to fragment musicians and instruments into geometric shapes, lines, and overlapping forms. Rather than depicting the musicians realistically, I rearrange the forms to capture the energy and spontaneity I hear in jazz. Black, white, gray, and touches of red create a visual rhythm that echoes the contrast between sound and silence.
